4.4.6 Place Center Post SA7088188 over parachute release, making sure the parachute releaae f i ring lanyard passes through the slot in the post .
4.4. 7 Place two Rubber Bands, A-A- 131 s i ze 64 over center post.
4.4.8 Form an eight inch loop in each pair of suspension lines between the parachute ring and the four inch bundles prepared in 4.3.20 by tucking the lines under the rubber bands installed on the center post in 4.4.7.
4. 4. 9 Distribute the loops a.bout t.he circumference of the cencer post so Chat they are in line with their respective attachment points on che parachuce ring.
4.4.10 Stack the suspension line bundles on the forward closure place adjacent to their respective ring attachmenc points. Position bundles
I prepared in 4.3.20 on the bottom. Keep the static line and harness lines 1 outside of the stacked bundles.
4.4.11 Lif t the forward closure and parachute re lease assembly using both hands by placing the finger tips under the parachute ring .

Gather the four harness lines together to the base o= the center post on the side teeing the operacor. Fold the gathered harness line in half, posicioning the vinyl loop of the stacic line along the edge of the forward closure next co che gathered harness lines. Lay the folded harness lines at the base of the center pose adjacent to che bundles. sec the free length of the stecic line oucside of the housing so Chat it hangs adjacent to che point of the vinyl loop location (i.e., static line should come up the inside and go down the outside o! the housing at the same location) .
4.4.14 LOwer the suspended canopy until che bottom horizontal ribbon can be positioned around the inside circumference of the housing.
4. 4 .15 Pack r emainder of parachute into c0111pressor, distributing it evenly around center post by gradually lowering the canopy inco the housing and forcing down repeatedly with finger tips.
4.4.16 Separate vent lines so that vent can be pushed down around center post without vent lines catching on the cencer post.
4.4.17 Lay f~ee length of scatic li~e on top of packed canopy.
4.4.18 Posi tion packed housing on Base SA7088183 in press. Make sure scr ews that hold forward closure to parachute release seat in clearance hol es in base.

4.4.21 Switch Rods SA7088190-1 into slots on pressure ring and tighten hand knobs to hold parachute in compressed condition.
4.4.22 Release press pressure and remove housing fro~ base and leave parachute secured in housing a minimum of two hours.
NOTE
Less expansion will be encountered, when parachute is removed from housing, if allowed to stand for a longer period of time.
4. 5 Preparation of Parachute Can. Prepare pa:::achute can as follows.
4.5.1 Using existing holes in Clamp 2158783 as guides, and with Strap 2158780 straddling the groove in Can 2132250, match drill through, using
