About this file

This document is a Terms of Use Agreement (TOUA) for a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) for the AEGIS Weapon System (AWS) MK99 Fire Control System (FCS) Mod X.

The RFI is seeking information from industry on their capability to modernize and redesign the below-deck equipment of the existing MK99 FCS for new construction DDG 51 ships from FY2028 to FY2033. The redesigned below-deck equipment must maintain or exceed the functionality and performance of the current system, interface with existing ship systems, and demonstrate the ability to manufacture and deliver the equipment to meet shipbuilding schedules. Interested companies must provide details on their engineering, design, qualification, production, and retrofit capabilities related to this effort. Responses are limited to 20 pages and are due within 30 days of the RFI posting. The Navy plans to award a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for engineering services and production of an Engineering Development Model, with firm-fixed-price orders for production. Companies must possess a SECRET facility clearance to participate.
