About this file

This is a Frequently Asked Questions document for the SAA-LT (Small Aircraft Agility-Long Endurance Technology) federal contract opportunity. The document addresses four key inquiries from prospective vendors regarding proposal submission requirements and technical specifications.

The FAQ clarifies that Alternative Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (Alt PNT) with GPS-denied navigation capability is not currently planned as an initial threshold requirement. Regarding submission format, vendors responding with solutions for both design options are limited to a maximum of 15 pages, and the Government has no preference whether vendors submit independent responses for each option or present Option 2 (wing-kit-only) as a subsystem within Option 1 using a combined narrative approach. Additionally, the document confirms that no presentations or slides from the SAA-LT Industry Day will be released, as the event is briefed at the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) classification level.
