F-35B

The CH-53K “King Stallion” has a 110 Nm combat radius at MGW, can cruise at 170 KIAS, and provides the Marine Corps with the ability to transport 27k pounds of cargo in support of MAGTF operations out to that range. The CH-53K has a 460 Nm range unrefueled and a maximum lift up to 36K pounds externally.

The MV-22 “Osprey” has a 425Nm combat radius, can cruise at 260 KIAS, and is capable of carrying 24 combat equipped Marines or an external load of 12.5K lbs. The aircraft has a strategic self deployment capability due to its 2100 Nm single aerial refueling range.

The F-35B “Lightning II” is the worlds first supersonic STOVL aircraft. It brings unprecedented lethality, survivability, and maintainability to the MAGTF. The aircraft can operate without degradation in within A2AD or highly contested airspace and it’s sensor will provide the MAGTF with a significant increase in battlefield situational awareness.

The MAGTF Unmanned Expeditionary Capabilities UAS (MUX) will be the first STOVL capable Group 5 / Tier 3 UAS to provide the MAGTF with a network-enabled, digitally interoperable, and built to execute responsive, persistent, lethal, and adaptive full-spectrum operations from the sea base.

The Future Vertical Lift (FVL) CS3 platform will enhance the capabilities of the MAGTF. First, it will provide an escort platform for the MV-22 throughout its flight profile. Second, the platform will then be capable of providing OAS at the range and speeds of the MV-22. The utility variant will be able to perform the missions conducted by the UH-1Y Venom, while occupying a smaller footprint with greater self protection and situational awareness (Examples: Recon Insert, Light TRAP package, CASEVAC, etc.). The attack variant will be able to do all the missions of the AH-1Z Viper at the range and speed of the MV-22 with greater effectiveness due to its integrated fire control systems and sensors. The FVL CS3 platforms will also be designed form the ground up to be network enabled and digitally interoperable with the MAGTF, Naval shipping, and the Naval Integrated Fire Control system.

KC-130J

The KC-130J “Hercules” supports the MAGTF commander by providing air-to-air refueling, aviation delivered ground refueling, and assault support airlift, day or night in all weather conditions during expeditionary, joint, or combined operations.
