You may add as much text as necessary. The box will expand to show all text.: Only vendors distributing Ricoh brand OEM parts can fulfill this requirement. The Ricoh Pro C7110 digital presses owned by ONI provides mission essential and time critical intelligence products to national level consumers, decision makers and war fighters for nine commands within the NMIC. Any reduction or degradation in this capability will have a severe negative impact in providing distribution of intelligence materials, possibly result in mission failure. Due to this equipment's role and upcoming delivery of hard copy intelligence within the IC and war fighting theater, it is imperative these machines have high capacity paper drawers / stacker's and roll away carts and OEM maintenance and service parts available for install when needed to ensure a proper state of readiness and avoid any degradation in mission accomplishment. Print Shop personnel perform all maintenance and approximately 90% of required service calls. Due to this limiting factor, competition is limited to Ricoh partners and authorized dealers.
You may add as much text as necessary. The box will expand to show all text.: Competition will be sought among GSA eBuy. Competition is available through the manufacturer and its authorized resellers. Pricing techniques will be utilized to ensure the award price is fair and reasonable and represents the best value (as defined in FAR 2.101) and results in the lowest cost alternative (considering price, special features, administrative cost, etc.) to meet the Government's needs.
You may add as much text as necessary. The box will expand to show all text.: Independent government market research was performed via Internet search and a vendor was found to be technically acceptable. Ricoh has partners and resellers who can compete for this contract via GSA Schedule Contract. Vendors who do not have the necessary proprietary required items cannot effectively fulfill this requirement.

You may add as much text as necessary. The box will expand to show all text.: This is not a regular re-occurring requirement. Print Shop personnel regularly attend conferences and review industry publications and conduct on-line research to stay aware of industry trends, products and services. The government will again compete the requirements at the end of the equipment life-cycle.
