About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a water main line installation project for the City of Bixby, Oklahoma. The project involves installing 200 linear feet of 8-inch C900 DR14 PVC water main line to serve two homes, located in Tulsa County at coordinates 35.922847 (N), -95.814903 (W). The contractor is required to perform specific tasks including exposing existing water main lines, installing ductile iron fittings, mechanical joint restraints, gate valves, and connecting to existing water infrastructure, with precise installation requirements for trench depth, pipe bedding, and positioning.

Key technical specifications include using JM Eagle Blue Brute C900 PVC pipe with a 305 psi pressure rating, epoxy-coated ductile iron fittings from Tyler Union or Sigma, and EBAA Iron Series 2000PV mechanical joint restraints. The project mandates strict installation protocols, including maintaining specific horizontal and vertical separations from other utility lines, installing tracer wire and warning tape, and conducting comprehensive testing and disinfection procedures. The contractor must provide a two-year warranty and complete the work between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, with final inspection and closeout activities requiring site restoration and documentation submission to the Project Oversight and City of Bixby.
