About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) for upper extremity prosthetics from the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 19. The RFI outlines the minimum technical requirements for five groups of prosthetic products: terminal devices, wrist units, elbow units, limb interface systems, and limb components/accessories. It specifies that all products must be commercial items meeting ISO standards. The RFI announces an Industry Day event on September 17-19, 2024 in Golden, CO where manufacturers or their designated distributors can present their products. Registration is required by August 23, 2024 and should include company information, business size, and confirmation of manufacturer representation. The VA is not seeking proposals at this time, but will use the Industry Day to gather information for a potential future solicitation. The RFI does not commit the government to a contract.
