About this file
This document is a Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) issued by the Maryland State Police (MSP) for a telecommunications equipment and services contract under the PBX IV Master Contract. The PORFP is seeking proposals from NEC Master Contractors to provide hardware, software, and maintenance services for a PBX system upgrade at the MSP Berlin Barrack in Berlin, Maryland. The required equipment and services include installing an NEC SV9100 PBX system, configuring CCIS links and call routing, programming and testing telephones, and providing maintenance, training, and documentation. The PORFP has a delivery date of July 1, 2024 and the proposal due date is March 15, 2024. The evaluation criteria focus on the vendor's experience with the equipment, ability to meet delivery timelines, and alignment with the stated requirements.
The PORFP includes a 25% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation goal for the maintenance and labor portions of the contract. Pricing must be provided on an itemized basis, and the State reserves the right to purchase more or less than the specified quantities. The winning vendor will be responsible for installing any customer-provided equipment and providing an updated inventory list. Invoicing instructions and security requirements for the work site are also detailed in the PORFP.
