About this file
The document provided is a FAQ related to a PORFP (Purchase Order Request for Proposal) issued by the Maryland State Police (MSP) for a VoIP phone system for a new Berlin Barracks facility. The PORFP requires the winning vendor to be an NEC PBX IV Master Contractor and to provide a full turnkey solution including delivery, installation, testing, and post-cutover onsite support. The vendor must also provide 2-year manufacturer warranty support, which can be delivered remotely. The vendor will be responsible for confirming the proper functioning of the CCIS VoIP network between the 26 MSP locations. This is a new system installation, not a replacement, and the vendor will not be responsible for removing old equipment. The MSP will provide PoE and patch cables, but the vendor must deliver the pre-programmed equipment to the site. Remote access to the system will be provided to the vendor after installation.
Pricing and funding details were not provided in the FAQ. The contract is limited to NEC PBX IV Master Contractors, but it is unclear if there is an incumbent vendor.

Can MSP please confirm that this procurement is limited to only PBX IV Master Contractors?
Correct, only PBX IV Master Contractors are able to win this procurement

Yes. An additional attachment was not provided in PORFP as under PBX IV contract there is no standard coverage spelled out.
