This Statement of Work (SOW) details a procurement for the Bureau of Reclamation's Socorro Field Division to replace track system components for a Caterpillar 330CL Amphibious Excavator. The contract requires a vendor to provide one pair of complete track assemblies specifically compatible with Wilco Manufacturing pontoons, with precise technical specifications including a 5-inch heavy-duty track chain, minimum 97 aluminum cleats, K3 attachments, and UHMW polyethylene components. The track systems must be fully assembled, delivered to the San Marcial yard in New Mexico, and replace existing units without equipment modifications.
Key contract parameters include a 12-week delivery timeline from contract award, no government-furnished property, no special security requirements, and a point of contact for technical questions. The track assemblies must meet stringent material requirements, including alloy heat-treated rollers and pins, a minimum breaking load of 70,000 pounds, and USA-brand or equivalent chain components. The objective is to restore the amphibious excavator to operational status and eliminate frequent equipment downtime for field operations.
