About this file
This document outlines the Master Agreement terms and conditions for the Maine Military Authority (MMA), which is soliciting a one-year contract for the procurement of anti-corrosion compound to support vehicle and equipment refurbishment and maintenance operations. The contract will be awarded to the supplier offering the best combination of price and lead time, contingent upon approval of product samples as required by MMA specifications. While a preliminary shipment schedule may be provided representing MMA's estimated needs, actual delivery orders may vary based on operational requirements at the time of order. Specific orders will be transmitted via email delivery order (DO) documents to the vendor's primary contact, with each order assigned a distinct order number; multiple orders with different delivery dates may be released simultaneously. Shipments will only be accepted up to two weeks prior to stated delivery dates, with advance shipments without prior approval subject to refusal, and orders not delivered as scheduled are subject to modification or cancellation at MMA's discretion.
Bid prices must be submitted as net F.O.B. destination with all transportation and delivery charges fully prepaid by the contractor, and prices will remain fixed throughout the contract period unless periodic price changes are agreed to in writing. Winning bidders may be required to provide item samples and certificates of conformance for MMA evaluation of product suitability and specification conformance. The State Purchasing Director reserves the right to extend the contract period beyond the indicated expiration date with contractor consent and to cancel the contract with thirty days' written notice if terms and conditions are not met.
