About this file

Summary: MMA Contract Terms for 100% Glycol Multi-Engine Antifreeze

This document outlines the contract terms and conditions established by the State of Maine for the procurement of 100% Glycol Multi-Engine Antifreeze through a Master Purchasing Agreement (MMA). The contract specifies the standard terms applicable to vendors supplying this product to Maine state agencies and authorized users. The antifreeze product is intended for use across multiple state departments and agencies that require de-icing and freeze-protection solutions for vehicles and equipment. The MMA framework allows for multiple vendors to be selected based on competitive bidding, with pricing and availability terms established upfront to facilitate efficient procurement across participating state entities.

The contract terms establish pricing mechanisms based on competitive market rates, with vendors required to offer pricing that reflects current market conditions for 100% glycol antifreeze products. The agreement includes standard payment terms, delivery requirements, and quality specifications consistent with industry standards for automotive antifreeze. The MMA structure permits multiple awards to qualified vendors, reducing procurement burden for individual state agencies while maintaining competitive pressure on pricing. Contract duration and any renewal options would be specified within the full agreement terms, allowing the State of Maine to maintain adequate supply sources for this essential commodity while ensuring vendor performance and compliance with state procurement regulations.
