About this file

This document is a Notice of Intent to Award from the Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget's Printing Services, relating to Request for Quote (RFQ) #25*0391 for printing MIOSHA CET #0101-S Spanish Version documents. The project involves two quantity options: 1,000 and 1,500 printed units, with bids evaluated based on pricing, turnaround time, printed in Michigan status, and vendor experience. The solicitation sought competitive pricing for the Spanish language document printing, with two bidders participating: Image Printing and Lawson.

Image Printing was recommended as the awarded vendor, offering the lowest pricing at $715.00 for 1,000 units and $890.00 for 1,500 units, compared to Lawson's higher bids of $1,884.76 and $2,302.76 respectively. The evaluation process emphasized best value to the State of Michigan, considering factors beyond price such as turnaround time (7 working days for Image Printing versus 15 for Lawson). The state reserves the right to perform the work in-house or select a higher-priced bidder if deemed to provide better overall value. Contact for questions about the procurement is Brad Schumann, with protest procedures available through the Vendor Self Service system.
