Minimum Specifications

CABLE: Enviroflex 316-D cable or equivalent 80’’ in length 3’’ of double wall heat shrink from each connector

CONNECTOR 1: BNC - AMPHENAOL 31-315

CONNECTOR 2: Microdot - PN: 5-1532005-0 & PN: 132-0114-0003 NOTE: May be microdot or equal. The TYPE of connection needs to be microdot. BRAND NAME not required

C713/C716 requests the following technical factors in order to verify a quality product:

- Provide an image of the actual cable that will be provided (no stock images)

- Provide written confirmation by a subject matter expert of the following features of the cable = o Confirm materials of construction and crimping features match Notes 1 and 2 on page 2 of the provided technical drawing. If they do not match exactly, provide explanation for why.

o Confirm specifications on page 3 of provided technical drawing match. If they do not match exactly, provide explanation for why.

o Confirm the length of the double heat wall shrink on the cable in inches.

- Verify that the BNC connection and microdot connection cannot be easily separated from the cable.

o Perform a tensile strength or stress test to provide a force measurement that the ends can withstand prior to failure.

- Verify no existence of sound shorts within the cable through a voltmeter resistance test i.e.

verify the shielding wire is quality and is not in contact with the signal wires to cause a short even with adjusting/jiggling the wire. (Y/N)

- Verify the flexibility and resilience of the cable.

o Provide the minimum bending radius (Static, repeated and dynamic) at the double heat wall shrink section of the cable.

- Verify that the double heat wall shrink cannot be easily slid down the cable disconnecting from the end. (Y/N)
