About this file
This document is an Emergency Purchase Statement from the State of Illinois Chief Procurement Office. It details the emergency procurement of tuckpointing services for the Peoria Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF). The contractor, CAD Construction Inc., was originally awarded a small purchase contract for this work, but unforeseen conditions required additional services beyond the initial scope. As a result, the agency is declaring an emergency to extend the contract and provide additional funding of $19,827.50 to complete the necessary tuckpointing repairs. The extended contract period is expected to run from May 18, 2020 to August 14, 2020.
The tuckpointing services are necessary to prevent further damage and water infiltration to the state-owned facility. This contract will be funded using federal funds. The original small purchase award was made to CAD Construction Inc., who is currently performing work at the Peoria AASF site. The agency has determined that an emergency declaration is required to continue this critical facility maintenance work.
