1.7.4.1 ORGANICS: Many industrial samples and biosolids contain complex matrices, thus creating difficulty in reaching the typically low detection limits associated with the EPA organics analysis methods. In recognition of this problem the City will allow a tenfold maximum detection limit over the limits cited in Attachment I for EPA test methods 608.3, 624.1, and 625.1.
1.7.5 The Minimum Quantification Levels (MQL) and Minimum Analytical Levels
(MALs) are required by the City=s TPDES permit. The minimum detection limits must be met as listed in Attachment I for the analyses performed on the
Raw Wastewater Influent, Constructed Wetland Influent, and Constructed
Wetland Effluent.
2.0 Quality Assurance/Quality Control
(QA/QC Procedures must conform with EPA and NELAP requirements.)
2.1 Trip blanks shall be required for every set of VOA samples collected.
2.2 Field (Reagent) Blanks shall be required once a month or for every ten (10) samples collected, whichever comes first.
3.0 The Contract Laboratory will be required to submit a signed statement stating that all wastewater and water analysis from the City’s treatment plant were performed in accordance with 40 CFR.
