About this file
This is an Addendum No. 001 to the solicitation for Metro Reconstruction of Reisterstown Plaza East Interlocking issued by the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) for reconstruction work on the Baltimore Metro System. The project involves reconstruction of the Reisterstown Plaza East Interlocking and adjacent sections of mainline tracks near the Reisterstown Plaza Station in Baltimore. The addendum clarifies and modifies terms of the original contract solicitation (Contract No. T-1720-0150R), providing updated specifications and requirements for bidders preparing their proposals. The document establishes the framework for competitive bidding on this infrastructure rehabilitation project.
The addendum contains revisions to contract documents, technical specifications, and potentially bid requirements or project scope elements identified after the initial solicitation release. Prospective bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum with their bid submissions to ensure compliance with the most current contract requirements. This amendment is a standard mechanism for incorporating changes to solicitation documents prior to bid opening, allowing the MTA to refine project parameters while maintaining the integrity of the competitive bidding process.
