About this file
This document is a product specification for the Biomark APT12 FDX-B Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT) Tag, a radio frequency identification (RFID) device used for in-vivo animal identification in fisheries, small and large mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, and bats, as well as for generic object identification. The PIT Tag is 12.5 mm long, 2.03 mm in diameter, and designed for subcutaneous or intramuscular implantation. It is compatible with ISO Standards 11784 and 11785 and can be used with Biomark's MK10, MK7, and MK25 implanter systems.
The related state and local contract opportunity is a Sole Source solicitation by the State of Oregon pursuant to ORS 279B.075 and OAR 125-247-0275 for the purchase of PIT tags for the Round Butte Hatchery. The jurisdictions involved are Jefferson County and the City of Madras. No additional details are provided regarding quantities, response dates, award dates, or contract term.
