About this file

The document is a Notice to Contractors issued by Sacramento County for the Meister Way Improvement Project, located between Bear Paw Drive and Lone Tree Road. The project involves comprehensive roadway improvements, including clearing and grubbing, pavement grinding and removal, roadway excavation, aggregate base installation, asphalt pavement work, slurry seal, traffic striping, curb and gutter construction, sidewalk and curb ramps, drainage facilities installation, waterline and sanitary sewer work, traffic signal installation, and roadway signage. The bid is scheduled for submission on October 16, 2025, at 2:00 pm, with a project contact of Gabriel Flores and a procurement contact of Jesse Sanchez. The estimated construction cost is $9,500,000, and a General Engineering Contractor (Class A) license is required.

The pricing proposal is detailed in a comprehensive unit price schedule covering multiple categories including general work, roadway construction, pavement delineation and signage, storm drain and utility work, water infrastructure, and electrical and signal installations. The bid requires a 10% bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cash, and successful bidders must provide payment and performance bonds for 100% of the contract price. The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements and the California Labor Compliance Program, with additional considerations for the Advanced Clean Fleets Regulation regarding vehicle emissions. Bidders must also complete various forms including a non-collusion declaration, subcontractor designation, and Iran Contracting Act disclosure.
