About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by Dickinson State University (DSU) regarding moisture remediation for May Hall, an academic building located at 291 Campus Drive in Dickinson, North Dakota. DSU is seeking information from contractors capable of addressing below-grade water infiltration and related issues, such as determining the source of moisture, interior and exterior sealing methods, maintaining foundation stability during excavations, and mitigating any mold development. Respondents are requested to provide technical details, including equipment, functionality, maintenance, consumables, estimated schedule/timeframe, and vendor recommendations. Additionally, respondents are asked to provide cost estimates to help DSU understand acquisition and ongoing costs, though these estimates will not bind respondents should a competitive solicitation be issued later. A mandatory site walk-through is scheduled for March 11, 2024.
The RFI does not constitute a commitment by DSU to issue a solicitation. However, if a solicitation is issued, it will be conducted in accordance with North Dakota state procurement laws, rules, and guidelines. While specific pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, or funding sources are not provided, the RFI aims to gather information to potentially support a future procurement process for addressing the moisture remediation issues at May Hall.
