A. ASTM B369/B369M, STANDARD SPECIFICATION FOR COPPER-NICKEL ALLOY CASTINGS, dated 01 JULY 2024.

ASTM B824, STANDARD SPECIFICATION FOR GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR COPPER ALLOY CASTINGS, dated 01 APRIL 2017 B. Quantity of castings:1 EA.

S7.1 – Level of preservation, packaging, and packing if other than commercial:

Level - C S7.2 – In addition to any special marking required by the contract, marking for shipment shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-129.

Additional Data Requirements:

CERTIFICATION: Limited to chemical and mechanical results only.

Provide a report of NDT results per section 12.2.6 of S9074-AR-GIB-010/278, excluding item (d).

S2 - Soundness - Each casting is Category 3-I per S9074-AR-GIB-010/278.

Product Markings - Mark castings per Note 5 of DWG 120-4326543. Upon acceptable pressure test and visual inspection each casting shall have its heat number marked on the raised pad. To record the heat number the casting may be marked by vibro tool, or round bottom low stress stamps, per MIL-STD-792.

All unit, intermediate, and shipping containers must be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129. Refer to DLA Procurement Note C20 for further instructions.
