About this file
This file is a Technical Documents Checklist and vendor instruction template for evaluating quotations submitted in response to RFQ W912DY-26-Q-A178 for Camp Humphreys, Korea, Buildings VF 130 and VF 140 administrative and housing furnishings. Vendors must complete the checklist in Word format and demonstrate compliance with Furniture Item Description (FID) requirements through manufacturer catalogs and CAD drawings. The checklist requires vendors to confirm that all quoted items meet current environmental certificates, required warranties, and GSA testing requirements (where applicable). For beds and underbed drawers, vendors must provide copies of applicable GSA contract pages with model numbers and approved test results. For wood and metal casegoods and beds, vendors must submit GSA contract documentation highlighted to show model numbers and salient features, along with evidence of compliance with Department of Army UH Furnishings Program specifications (Amendment 99). Technical documents must be organized sequentially according to FID and annotated to highlight construction requirements.
The document includes a Technical Review section with multiple rounds (1-4) where HNC (Huntsville Center) evaluators assess whether submissions are technically acceptable, with designated white fields for HNC comments in red or black text and light blue fields for vendor responses only. Vendors are prohibited from modifying prior round comments or HNC feedback. The checklist serves as a gate mechanism whereby failure to meet any prerequisite requirement results in non-conforming status and ineligibility for award. Quote submission deadline is 2:00 PM Central Time, Wednesday, June 17, 2026, with quotes valid for 120 days. Quotes must be emailed to the Contract Specialist (rashad.c.wright@usace.army.mil) and CEHNC-FurnitureQuotes@usace.army.mil and include SF 1449, Attachment 1 (Excel), and Attachment 8 (Word version).
