About this file

This document is a Market Research Survey for a Full Line Fresh Fruit and Vegetables (FF&V) contract opportunity in the Colorado Zones, issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Subsistence. The solicitation seeks to support both Department of Defense (DoD) Troops and Non-DoD customers, including schools and Indian Tribal Organizations, with a potential 5-year contract estimated at $60,666,250 and a maximum value of $181,998,750. The 12-month base period contract requires potential vendors to complete a detailed questionnaire about their capabilities, including interest in servicing all customers, minimum delivery requirements, current business operations, government contracting experience, and small business procurement practices.

The survey includes specific questions about zone feasibility, potential subcontracting needs, and vendor capabilities, with a focus on the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Order & Receipt System (FFAVORS) web-based ordering platform. Vendors must confirm their ability to use FFAVORS for non-DoD customers, have internet access, and provide alternative ordering methods if the system is non-operational. Responses are due by August 1, 2025 at 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, to be submitted via email to specified DLA Troop Support contacts. The market research aims to gather information to help craft a future solicitation and does not guarantee future business opportunities.
