The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. This provision requires waste removal services for the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) Brooklyn, Dayton Manor, and Building 4, as detailed in the Statement of Work (SOW).
The Government intends to make a single award of an indefinite delivery/requirements type contract with firm fixed prices that will consist of a base year and four additional one-year option periods that may be exercised in accordance with the terms of the resulting contract. Payment to Contractor will be based on the actual number of pickups ordered and performed in accordance with the SOW.
Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement.

The Federal Acquisitions Regulations requires the following insurance’s: Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s liability not less than $100,000; and General Liability no less than $500,000 per occurrence; and Automobile Liability of at least $200,000 per person, $500,000 per occurrence for bodily injury, and $20,000 per occurrence for property damage.
