About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) from the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Installation and Mission Support Center seeking market research about commercial market research portals. The Air Force is exploring a subscription-based online portal that provides detailed product/service line reports, to be accessed by 10-15 concurrent users monthly, without requiring software installation on government networks. The RFI specifically requests vendors to provide sample detailed reports, highlight key analytical features such as Porter's 5 Forces Analysis, top vendor market shares, pricing drivers, barriers to entry, and supply chain overviews.
The RFI seeks comprehensive information from potential vendors, including primary research methodologies, licensing/subscription options, pricing structures, platform analytics capabilities, customer service offerings, and business credentials. Vendors are asked to demonstrate their platform's ability to provide in-depth commercial market insights, with a focus on features like visualizations, dashboards, AI-generated summaries, and export options. The government emphasizes that this is a market research exercise only, with no guarantee of future procurement, and contractors will not be compensated for providing information in response to the RFI.

Overview: This is a request for information (RFI) only. Contractors will not be compensated for any information provided to the Government and the information provided cannot be returned to the contractor. The Government is under no obligation to pursue an acquisition resulting from this RFI. Responses to this RFI will assist the Government in identifying available tools in the commercial marketplace.
AFICC is contemplating a requirement for subscription access to online commercial market research portal that provides detailed reports at the product/service line level (as opposed to broad industries/markets). The reports must be available via online portal or platform – the DAF does not desire to install software on its network or to any local machine. The online or downloadable reports would be accessed by 10-15 individuals per month (on average) on a concurrent basis. The specific product/service reports to be required are not known in advance. Data from the online reports will be used to inform acquisition strategies for potential future enterprise contracts.
