About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) to identify potential sources for three specialized parachute systems: a Container Delivery System Parachute, a Joint Precision Airdrop System Parachute, and a life cycle replacement of the Tandem Offset Resupply Delivery System Parachute.
The RFI outlines the key requirements for each parachute system, including weight and load capacity, deployment altitudes, compatibility with existing equipment, and other performance specifications. Vendors are invited to provide information on their manufacturing capabilities, estimated pricing, and production rates. The RFI does not constitute a solicitation or any government obligation to purchase the parachutes. Responses are due by October 29, 2024, and should be submitted electronically to the specified contracting personnel. Proprietary information will be protected, and the government may use the collected market research to inform future requirements.
