About this file
This document is a set of campground maps for the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, featuring detailed site layouts for multiple campgrounds including Driftwood II, Eel Creek (North Loop, South Loop), and Waymyrtle. Each map includes bathroom locations, campsite numbering, road access, and a standard legend with icons for restrooms, fire stations, drinking water, campsite markers, and accessibility symbols. The maps are part of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area managed by the US Forest Service, located at 855 Highway 101 in Reedsport, Oregon.
Common campground rules are consistent across the maps, including requirements that campsites must be occupied the first night, cannot be left unattended for over 24 hours, and all vehicles are allowed only on pavement. Additionally, pets in developed areas must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet and are permitted in specific areas like trails, picnic areas, campgrounds, and parking lots. The maps also include emergency information, such as a tsunami safety guide recommending immediate inland movement to higher ground during potential tsunami events.
