About this file

This document is a Bid Proposal Form from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife for the procurement of 3,500 live adult Northern Bobwhite Quails (Colinus Virginianus). The contract requires the successful bidder to deliver the quails to the Southeast Wildlife District located at 195 Bournedale Road, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532 between 10/11/2016 and 11/25/2016. Bidders must specify the maximum quantity they can supply and provide a price per bird both for delivery and for birds picked up at the vendor's facility. Bidders with less than 3 years of production experience must provide references from 2 prior clients.

The pricing terms require the bidder to include the cost of non-medicated feed of the same type previously provided to the quails, with a quantity sufficient to ensure proper feeding until stocking or the next shipment. Bidders must also specify the last date they can receive an order from the agency and still make the required delivery schedule. This is a one-time procurement and does not include any renewal options.
