About this file

The document is a Living Wage Certification Form issued by the Town of Manchester, Connecticut, specifically related to the Snow and Ice Control Services contract for the Public Works Department. The form requires bidders to certify whether they are a "Covered Employer" under the Manchester Living Wage Ordinance (Chapter 212 of the Manchester Code of Ordinances) and comply with wage requirements, or declare an exemption based on specific criteria such as being a nonprofit, having fewer than 25 eligible employees, or having an annual contract value under $25,000.

Bidders must complete and sign the form, indicating their status regarding living wage compliance, with potential bid rejection if the form is not properly completed. This certification is a mandatory component of the bid submission for the snow plowing and de-icing services contract, which covers the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 winter seasons, with a potential renewal option for the 2026/2027 season. The form ensures that contractors understand and agree to meet local wage standards if selected for the municipal snow and ice control services contract.
