About this file
The document is a Living Wage Certification Form issued by the Town of Manchester, Connecticut, related to municipal contract requirements. The form requires bidders to certify whether they are a "Covered Employer" under the Manchester Living Wage Ordinance (Chapter 212), and mandates that if they are a covered employer, they must pay the required living wage to eligible employees and comply with ordinance requirements throughout the contract term.
The form provides exemption options for bidders who are not covered employers, including: charitable foundations/nonprofits with 501(c) tax-exempt status, businesses employing fewer than 25 eligible employees, or contracts with an annual value less than $25,000. Bidders must complete and sign the form, indicating their status, and return it with their bid or RFP submission. Failure to properly indicate employer status may result in bid rejection. This certification appears to be a mandatory administrative requirement for potential contractors seeking to do business with the Town of Manchester.
