About this file

This is a questionnaire attachment for a Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC) branded furniture acquisition. The document serves as a template for potential offerors to provide information and responses during the source selection phase of the upcoming Request for Proposals (RFP) for solicitation number M9549227BRANDFURN. As a pre-solicitation announcement, this questionnaire is designed to gather preliminary information from interested contractors prior to formal proposal submission and will inform the competitive evaluation process.

The questionnaire is intended to collect detailed responses from offerors regarding their qualifications, capabilities, and approach to delivering the comprehensive branded furniture solution. Potential contractors should expect to address their experience with nationwide logistics and delivery, assembly and installation capabilities across Marine Corps Districts and Recruiting Stations throughout the continental United States, understanding of commercial-grade furniture standards, project management methodology, and relevant past performance. Based on the related opportunity details, the resulting contract will be structured as a Requirements Contract with a five-year ordering period, with historical annual spending ranging from approximately $169,000 to $1.6 million. Offerors must be prepared to participate in a mandatory in-person physical display evaluation where the Government's Technical Evaluation Board will conduct hands-on testing and inspection of fully assembled furniture samples, with the Government willing to travel to the offeror's showroom, factory warehouse, or dealership facility to conduct this evaluation.

Attachment 4 - Capability & Logistics Questionnaire Respondents should address the questions listed below to gather information to support the drafting of the RFP and finalization of the technical specification:

1. Will a Pre-Proposal Site Visit Mock-Up/Display decrease the likelihood of your company responding to a potential RFP? Or, have no impact?

2. Do you own, lease, or partner with commercial showrooms or warehouses where a fully assembled, hands-on physical display of your proposed USMC furniture package can be viewed? List all cities/states where these physical displays are or can be made available.

3. Do you partner with localized commercial furniture dealers who can set up and host an in-person physical display of your proposed furniture lines within a specific geographic radius of USMC facilities (e.g., near Parris Island, SC, or major Marine Corps Districts)?

4. Assuming a solicitation is issued, how many calendar days do you require to fully assemble and prepare a complete physical display of the proposed furniture package at your showroom/warehouse for an in-person Government evaluation?

5. Please populate and submit the attached Attachment 3: ROM Estimate Template providing non-binding cost estimates for the Base Year and four (4) individual Option Years.

6. Are any items provided in the branded Furniture ROM experiencing significant material surcharges because of current economic conditions?

7. If after consideration your company is not interested in this requirement, what is preventing your company from responding to a potential RFP?

8. After reviewing this RFI, are there any other concerns or comments that your company may have regarding this requirement?
