About this file

This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a sole source, firm-fixed price contract issued by the Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) to Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. The procurement involves multiple Rohde & Schwarz test and measurement instruments, including a CMA-180 Radio Test Set, NGM200 Power Supply, CMW100 Compact Radio Test Head, and associated accessories, software licenses, warranties, and calibration services. The total acquisition is valued under the simplified acquisition threshold and will be awarded using FAR Part 13 procedures, with a delivery timeline of approximately 8 weeks for most line items.

The solicitation is specifically structured as a brand-name or equal acquisition, with Rohde & Schwarz being the sole source due to being the exclusive designer, manufacturer, and distributor of the CMA-180 Radio Test Set. The instruments are designed for radio communications testing, operating in the 100 kHz to 3 GHz range, with digital signal processing capabilities. Potential alternative vendors are invited to submit capability statements demonstrating technical equivalence, with any submissions to be received by Maricela G. Lerma (maricela.lerma@usmc.mil) within 15 calendar days of the announcement. The contract will include various configuration options, warranty extensions, and calibration coverage for the specified equipment.
