About this file
This document is an Amendment 0001 Questions and Answers addendum to Request for Quote M68450-25-Q-T002 for barge service in Palau. The amendment clarifies transportation logistics for equipment movement, resolving conflicting location descriptions from previous document pages. The official clarification specifies that transportation will begin from Peleliu Airfield and end at Malakal Port, involving ground transportation from the airfield to the north dock port of Peleliu, followed by barge transfer to Malakal Port. The equipment movement is scheduled for 1-8 August 2025, with the contractor required to perform movements detailed in Tasks 1 and 2 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Questions and Answers
Question: On Page 3, it is mentioned: “All equipment will arrive at the Port of Malakal in Palau sometime between 1–8 August 2025. Once all equipment arrive, the contractor will make one movement to deliver all equipment to Peleliu airfield.”
However, on Page 5, it states: “Transportation from Port of Embarkation on the North Port of Peleliu to Malakal Port on Koror, Palau.”
These two statements seem to indicate opposite movement directions. Could you please confirm the correct pickup and delivery locations?
Answer: We are requesting transportation to begin from the Peleliu Airfield and end at the Malakal Port. The movement will begin from the Peleliu Airfield and will require ground transportation from there to the north dock port of Peleliu to be embarked onto the barge to be surfaced transferred to the Malakal Port. Page 3 should therefore state that “All equipment will arrive at the Peleliu airfield sometime between 1–8 August 2025. Once all equipment arrives, the contractor will deliver all equipment to Malakal Port. This movement will require the contractor to perform the movements detailed in Task 1 and Task 2 in section 5.0 of the PWS.”
