5 August 2019 Questions & Answers for Solicitation # M67861-19-Q-0034

Question: It doesn't say in the SOW, from what we could tell, if this solicitation has to follow UCR/AS-SIP guidelines. Please advise your disposition as soon as possible.

Answer: Since this is a POTS based system it will not being using AS-Sip or SIP protocols.

Question: The final Engineering Report shall include a complete building floor plan with all station locations, to include red line drawing of cable pathways." Is that report available now? I did not see it as one f the attachment on the posting.

Answer: This is one of the deliverables that has to be given back to us by the vendor who wins the bid.

Question: Based on the latest revised PWS for Battle Creek, the Marine Forces Reserve is requesting an Avaya IP Office PRI card for future use.

Question: The Avaya IP Office PRI card only comes with 8 channels of the PRI licensed. Does the Government want all 24 Channels for the future PRI to be licensed and priced with the proposal response?

Answer: Yes.

Question: I am hoping to find out if there is an incumbent contractor currently performing these services, if similar services have been performed in the past, or if this is a new requirement. If there is an incumbent, could you please provide the contract or task order number?

Answer: This is a new requirement, and there is no incumbent.

Question: How many of the 50 phones will be deployed at the time of install and how many will be reserved for future expansion?

Answer: Should be roughly 40-45.

Question: Will the new wire runs provided by the MARFORRES be terminated and labeled at both ends?

Answer: They should be labeled.

Question: Are all phones / workstations that will be replaced currently operational?

Answer: No not all phones are currently working, not sure if it is because the phone is bad or the infrastructure is bad.

Question: How many phones will be located in EACH of the outlaying buildings?

Answer: There will be one phone in each of the mobile armories, building 505 should have roughly 5.

Question: The photos supplied in the revised PWS show multiple phone systems in room 105. Will any of the systems remain in operation for another department that occupies the same building?

Answer: None of the phone systems shown in the photos will remain.

Question: What amount of downtime during installation and cutover will be acceptable.

Answer: That will need to be worked out with the site.

Question: Will the installing technician need to be escorted during the duration of the installation?

Answer: He will not have to be escorted, will just need to be let in the gate.

Question: Will working beyond standard business hours be allowed?

Answer: That will have to be worked out with marines onsite.

Question: The supplied photos do not show the amount of space to the right of the red panel box. Can you please confirm if there is space for a 19' wall mount or floor rack.

Answer: More photos are attached. There is not room there for a 19 in rack.
