About this file
This document is an Attachment 1 - Questions and Answers for Request for Information (RFI) M67854-25-I-8029 related to the Marine Corps Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Trainer (ISMT) Contractor Operation and Maintenance Services. The Q&A provides insights into the USMC's requirements, confirming they are seeking contractor support for maintenance, training, and operation of existing ISMT systems and ancillary equipment, not system replacement. Key details include: the contractor may be required to operate the ISMT system for training and non-training events, no facility clearance is required, the current contract (M6754-21-F-8020) is still active, and the USMC does not intend to release a draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) or hold an industry day prior to the RFP release. The document emphasizes that this Sources Sought Notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to contract.
