About this file

This document is an Attachment 1 - Questions and Answers for Request for Information (RFI) M67854-25-I-8029 related to the Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Trainer (ISMT) Contractor Operation and Maintenance Services. The Q&A provides clarification on key aspects of the potential contract, including that the USMC is not seeking to replace the current ISMT system, but rather seeking contractor support for maintenance, training, and operation of existing ISMT systems and ancillary equipment.

The questions address several important details, such as the potential need for civilian operators (contractors may be required to operate the ISMT system for training and non-training events), confirmation that no facility clearance is required of vendors, and verification that the current related contract (M6754-21-F-8020) is still active. The document indicates that the contractor may need to operate ISMT systems for various training scenarios, including system training, testing, and support at locations with technicians, subject to availability.
