About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers file for a band instrument procurement solicitation (Solicitation Number M6700126Q0011) by the Marine Corps Installations (MCI) EAST Regional Contracting Office at Camp Lejeune, NC. The solicitation is a total 100% small business set-aside, with NAICS code 339992, seeking various band instruments to be delivered within 90 days of award. Key clarifications in the Q&A include: the NAICS code is not required as a primary code for eligibility, the procurement is an "all-or-nothing" bid, and vendors can submit quotes with delivery timelines beyond 90 days (which will be evaluated accordingly). Additional details include a preference for Red Maple for the Fox 201 instrument (Line Item 0005), and mandatory vendor requirements of SAM and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) registration for government contracting and invoicing.

Questions and Answers
Good afternoon. I am writing to clarify the requirements regarding the NAICS code for this solicitation. Is it required that NAICS 339992 be listed as my primary code to be eligible? You do not require NAICS 339992 be listed as your primary code in order to be eligible.
Is this RFQ and "ALL-OR-NOTHING" bid? We are an AMERICAN manufacturer with a good history of doing business with the US Military. Whilst we can't make everything on this bid, we can do the brass instruments. May we submit this for what we CAN make for you? This RFQ is a all or nothing solicitation.
In the RFQ— it is identified that the instruments are required to be delivered within 90 days of the notice of award. We have been notified that some of the manufacturers have longer lead times than normal which will make it difficult to deliver by 90 days. In past award notices, the contract has been modified to accommodate specific line-item delivery times. Will this also be the case here? You are able to submit a quote with a past 90 day delivery date but this will be taken in account during evaluation.
Regarding the Fox 201 (Line Item: 0005) all of the maple that they use is aged, however there are two options, Mountain Maple and Red Maple. The pricing is the same for both, we just want to specify which one you would prefer, so that we identify it in the quote properly. Red Maple preferred to be quoted but ultimately no preference.
