SUMMARY OF CHANGES
SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE
The following have been added by full text:
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Q1: Do you have a list of the last time these fire extinguishers were maintenanced ? Especially the 6 year maintenance.
There is a big price difference to just tagging and inspecting monthly versus performing hydrostatic tests, recharging, and 6 year maintenance.
A1: Fire extinguishers have been serviced as they should. We have had this program for the last three years. As we find fire extinguishers or as they get turned in we will need them serviced as per the scope of work. This means that there may be some fire extinguishers that are outside the required time frame for inspections, testing, and maintenance.
Scope of work was given with the approximate number of fire extinguishers we believe we may get turned
in. Vendor will need to pick up and return fire extinguishers as we get them sorted and ready for service.
