This is a Sources Sought Notice for commercial services performed in accordance with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice for sources sought. Request for company background and capabilities are being sought and requested for this notice. An official solicitation notice is NOT applicable at this time. The proposed acquisition is to be competed on a brand name basis and the applicable NAICS is 811213-Communication Equipment Repair and
Maintenance, with a size standard of $12.0 million annually. Any quotes provided will not be accepted, or considered, in response to this sources sought.
This document is for information and planning purposes and to allow industry the opportunity to verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirement for consideration in the overall acquisition strategy, as well as to promote competition. Historically, this type of requirement has been procured on an unrestricted basis. Marine Corps Installation-East (MCI-East) Regional
Contracting Office is seeking information from all business types to reassess the market and its capability. This information will also help in determining the appropriate level of competition and/or SB subcontracting goals for this requirement.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Marine Corps Installations East Regional Contracting Office Camp Lejeune, North Carolina has a requirement for a Base Telephone Nortel and Avaya Maintenance services. Services will be provided at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point located in Cherry Point, North
Carolina, 28533.
The specific Nortel and Avaya maintenance services required are:
1: SL-100 switch, remote switch, TAS/ETAS
2: T-Metric system
3: MPS-500 IVR System hardware/software
Interested vendors shall have employees with a minimum of two years’ experience in performing maintenance and troubleshooting on Nortel and Ayava systems and support services.
Please see the attached draft performance work statement (PWS) for scope of services.
Contract award will be made to a single offeror. The contract will be for a base plus two option years.
INFORMATION REQUESTED:
Specifically, MCI-East, RCO is seeking written responses (contractor format is acceptable) to the following strategic sourcing and company specific questions (Any information provided is voluntary. Telephone calls will not be accepted):
1. Is your business Small or Large?
a. If small, is your business a small business concern?
i. If yes, which type? (8A, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc…)
2. In order to support this requirement in the Cherry Point, NC area:
a. Is your business certified and capable of supporting telephone maintenance for a Nortel and Avaya system services located in several sites at Cherry Point, N.C. spelled out in attached PWS?
b. If yes, please provide supporting documentation, such as previous revelant projects or government contracts awarded.
i. What were your strengths?
ii. What were your deficiencies?
iii. How have you remedied deficiencies? Or improved?
3. In addition to the above, please provide the following information:
a. Company's Name, Business Address, Point of Contact (POC), telephone, and fax number. Include business size/type (Large, Veteran-Owned, 8a, HUBZone, SDB, JWOD, Women-owned, etc), cage code, email address, website (if applicable), GSA contract number (if applicable), experience, and an overview of your company.
