Life Support Services Q and A’s

1. Do you have an estimated volume of how many showers are going to be taken a day? The trailers do come with an on board water tank of 300 gallons. Estimate usage is 10 gallons per shower. Considering the volume a larger external water tank might be needed.

a. 100 showers per day. I’ll defer to the contractors recommendation for an additional tank.

2. Can you please detail what is required and what is expected on “Contractor shall clean showers at least once daily” ? example – is janitorial cleaning/disinfecting needed or just general pick up.

a. General pick up as long as Marines will be able to clean the showers themselves.

3. The SOW states that we need to provide three shower trailers containing 7 heads each. Can one trailer be provided if the number of heads is met, and male and female separation is achieved?

a. Yes

4. The SOW states to provide a laundry trailer containing eight washers and eight dryers. Can a larger trailer containing more units be provided instead?

a. Yes
