Question 19: In reference to the “digital flip charts” and interactive displays requirements:
· These appear to be called out as 2 separate requirements, it sounds like this technology is for the same function (interactive display technology to allow for annotation / note taking over content being shared with the class). Can you confirm that they are not (as per the solicitation) looking for 2 different interactive systems in each room, but are instead looking for a single interactive solution?
· To clarify the above: Is there still a need for the (4) stand-alone digital flip charts in addition to the interactive displays?
· In regards to the interactive displays, almost all of the available and suitable interactive displays are sourced from China. There is a very significant cost difference in the displays that are compliant with the Buy American Act. Should we plan to specify the compliant displays or plan for displays of Chinese origin with an exception based on unreasonable cost?
Answer: The 86” interactive display is separate from the digital flip chart. The flip chart will serve as a note taking capability in breakout groups. It is standalone and does not need to interact with other parts of the system. In essence, it is a giant, portable digital post-it note. The RFQ requests (4) standalone digital flip charts.
All equipment must be in compliance with the Buy American act, TAA compliant as included in the solicitation clauses and provisions
Digital Flip Chart:
