Solicitation: M0068122Q0016 Title of Requirement: Dismantle and Remove a Government Owned Custom Conveyor System Q&A #1-7 as of 11 May 2022 Q&A #1-7 do not require a Solicitation terms and conditions amendment.

Questions Answers 1 Is there a pre-bid site visit scheduled for this solicitation?

A pre-bid site visit will be scheduled – a future amendment to the solicitation with coordinating information will be released shortly.

A post-award site visit will be scheduled within 5 business days of award. See Statement of Work para 3.0-3.2 included in solicitation.

2 Are there any drawings available?

Drawings, photos, and dimensions are available in the attached description available on https://sam.gov/.

3 Will power supplies have to be removed from the main breaker?

The government disconnected the power from the main breaker on 21 April 2022 - the contractor will not be required to disconnect the power supply.

4 Lower lighting tracks are those needs to be removed? The existing lighting that is about 8-10' off the floor will stay in place and will not be removed by the contractor. The government has moved the guard railing in the receiving area and repositioned the receiving processing stations to provide better and more direct access to the conveyor system in the east end of the building.

5 Do all the hangers from the ceiling come off as part of the removal?

Yes the ceiling/ overhead hangers are required to be removed.

6 Does contractor need to remove all the floor brackets and anchor bolts?

Yes, there are anchor bolts and floor brackets that must be removed.

7 Can the contractor just cut off all bolts at the floor level or break and patch concrete?

The contractor will cut off bolts at the floor level.

No concrete work is anticipated.

Questions Answers 8 Can the sprinkler system in front of the offices be moved during work?

No. The sprinkler system in any locations throughout the structure cannot be removed.

9 What is the approximate height of the building? At its highest point, the building is approximately 22 feet high.

10 Is it possible to stand on the roofs of the offices when performing dismantling?

The office ceilings are not strong enough to hold sufficient weight without additional reinforcements.

11 Will government retain any of the dismantled equipment?

The contractor is responsible for dismantling and removing all parts of the conveyor system. The government will not retain or dispose of any equipment.

12 In some areas there is Data Cabling wire attached to the existing conveyer system. Who is responsible for removing and relocating these wires?

The government is responsible for removing and or relocating all data cables prior to performing work at least one-business day prior to required movement, as coordinated with the COR.

13 Who will relocate any government materials and equipment not related to the conveyor system that interferes with ability of contractor to reach the conveyor system?

Who will remove and reinstall yellow guard rails?

The government will move/relocate any required equipment or supplies in order to enable the contractor to provide requested services – this includes the yellow guard rails on floor level. The contractor will coordinate directly with the COR to agree upon equipment/supplies that must be moved at least one business day prior to required movement.

14 Can the contractor scrap and remove existing conveyer system off-site?

Yes. The contractor is required to remove all components of the conveyor system and shall be in accordance with any Federal, local and/or state policy for proper disposal.

15 While working above office area, can the Government relocate personal in office spaces while working? Or will this have to be completed after hours?

Government personnel will not relocate during services performed. However, contractor will coordinate with COR to ensure safety of all personnel during conduct of dismantling and removal services.
