Any question that is not clear is at risk of not being answered.) | Answer (To be provided by the Government as soon as possible after close of Question period.) |
| Technical Questions |
| Pricing Questions | ||||
| 1 | RFP pages 4-17 | Does government expect each performance year’s sub-CLINS to total up in the main CLIN’s total price? | Each of the four (4) CLIN's are informational; pricing is attached at the sub-line (SLIN) level. Each SLIN will be evaluated individually. | |
| 2 | RFP, pages 8,9, 10 | For CLIN 0002, the PWS states that it’s FFP. But all the sub-CLINS under 0002 is T&M. Would the government please clarify | Please see change to CLIN 0002 contract type. | |
| 3 | RFP, page 12 | For the sub-CLINS under 0003, it is unclear whether the quantity is accurate. | ||
| The POP for the sub-CLIN covers 12 months, but the “Max Quantity” in unit of “Months” is solicited as 24. Please clarify. | Per each SLIN's description under CLIN 0003, there are 2 units (on-site support locations); 2 units x 12 months = 24. | |||
| 4 | RFP, page 12, and PWS 3.2.1 Labor | Does government have the format for us to show the detailed Labor Categories & rates for T&M Repair Services CLIN? Which proposal volume shall we include the LCATs and T&M rates? | No, the Government does not have a format for detailed Labor Categories and rates for T&M Repair Services. Please keep in mind this is not an evaluated CLIN/SLIN. Per FAR 52.212-2 Addendum, labor categories are part of the staffing plan. Any proposal rate information must be in the Price Volume. | |
| 5 | RFP, page 8, para.1 | Contract Schedule states: "For T&M SLINs 0002AA - AE, the ceiling price is established as NTE $848,637.00 per ordering period." Please confirm that offerors are to use the specified ceiling price in completing the schedule and calculations. | Correct, offerors are to use the stated NTE pricing when completing the schedule and calculations. This is not an evaluated CLIN/SLIN. | |
| 6 | RFP, pages 4 thru 17 | Within the context of the pricing schedule, please define what is required for "MAX-NET AMT" and "TOT MAX PRICE-CEILING PRICE" | The "MAX NET AMT" and "TOT MAX PRICE-CEILING PRICE" are system generated and will be filled in automatically with awardee's prices upon award. The information the offeror must provide is the 'Unit Price", which when multiplied by the "Max Quantity" will result in the 'Max Amount". | |
| 7 | RFP, page 9, Clin 0002AA, heading | Max Quantity is specified as 8,848,637. Should this amount be 848,637? | Please see change to SLIN 0002AA Max Quantity. | |
| 8 | RFP page 12 and PWS 3.3.2 | For the sub-CLINS under CLIN 0003, it states, "The maximum quantity for this line item is based on the following: Estimated 2 Units (See Section 3.3.2 of PWS) X 12 Months (each TO period) = 24 Months". This seems to indicate the Government expects one support personnel for each of the two supported locations in PWS 3.3.2. Does the Government expect offerors to price one support personnel for each location? | Correct. Historically, the Govt anticipates one support personnel at each site. | |
| Solicitation Questions | ||||

| 2 | RFP page 88, Section 2.1 | RFP specifies that hard copy submissions must be spiral bound. Is any form of spiral binding acceptable, e.g. GBC binding? | GBC binding is acceptable. Any binding is acceptable as long as it allows easy removal of the paper. | |
