SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

The following have been added by full text:

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

1. Would you mind telling us the height and square footage of all of the windows and buildings that are to be pressure washed? We are unable to provide this information; OCS does not have the means nor manpower to measure the buildings.

1. Is there an incumbent? Or in other words, has MCI-NCR contracted for power washing services at MCB Quantico in the past? If so, who is that contractor? Yes, The Larkins Company

1. For this contract, can we assume that the Government will provide (access to) water and electric for the performance of the contract? Yes, this will be provided.

1. Are there “zero discharge” requirements for the wash/rinse waters? No.

1. What is meant by “environmentally friendly cleaning products”, and will the Contractor need to coordinate with the Installation & Environment Division (NREA-B) for work on this contract? No harsh chemicals may be used.

1. From visual exterior inspection of the Armory Building (#2118), the foam insulation is deteriorated and is not likely to withstand power washing in our opinion. Will the Government consider removing this building from the contract, or determine an alternate plan for cleaning the exterior of the Armory Building? No, this building can’t be removed from the requirement.

1. Is bleach allowed to be used? No.
