About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the United States Marine Corps for moving services of a World War II-era military artifact. The specific requirement involves transporting one M4A3 Sherman tank along with sixteen (16) pallets and boxes containing supporting materials. The RFI is a pre-solicitation document designed to gather market research and industry input regarding potential capabilities for handling this specialized transportation task.
The solicitation (M00264-25-RFI-031) appears to be seeking vendors with expertise in handling large, historic military equipment and associated archival or museum-grade materials. The document suggests that interested contractors should review the attached RFI/Sources Sought documentation for comprehensive details about the moving services requirements, though specific logistical parameters such as origin, destination, timeline, and precise handling specifications are not fully detailed in this overview document.
