SUBJ: Questions and Responses to Solicitation M00146-15-T-9006 Depot Level Maintenace
Support, FRC-East, Cherry Point, NC
Question 1: Sched B CLINS 0001-0017 indicates DAYS however Example 0001 - the number of days exceeds the number available based on PWs Section 6.5.1 ( =40hrs/week which is 5 days/week =
260days) and 6.5.4 which indicates no work on holidays (10 days/yr) which will result in 250 days a year.
Please clarify the apparent discrepancy between the published days and productive days ( 15 days)?
Answer 1: 265 is the maximum number of man days per year for each contractor employee for all the
CLINs. As this is an IDIQ type contract, the government is under no obligation to order the full 265 days, it merely establishes a maxiumum ceiling. The government will order a specific number of days by issuance of task order(s). Vendors are instructed not to alter the number of days in the line item structure.
Question 2: There are 251 work days in the period of performance. Section B utilizes 265 days for the base quantity for all CLINS. Will the government deem any offeror that bids other than 265 days technically unacceptable?
Answer 2: Vendors are instructed not to alter the number of days in the line item structure.
