About this file

This letter request for order proposal (LRFOP) solicits pricing proposals for BBU-35A/B Impulse Cartridges. The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Hill Air Force Base seeks to procure these cartridges through multiple award contracts. Contractors must submit pricing in the embedded quantity band table by banding unit pricing into quantity ranges. The Air Force will determine the combination of pricing and quantities that provides the most units within available funds. Proposals are due based on individual LRFOP dates and pricing must remain valid for 120 days thereafter. Delivery will be according to existing contract terms, with shipment destinations on individual delivery orders. Any questions should be directed to the contracting officer.

SUBJECT: USAF Letter Request for Order Proposal (LRFOP) Solicitation

1. In accordance with Awarding Orders under Multiple Award Contracts, in the subject contract, we are requesting pricing proposal from your company for use in a potential order award.

2. Ordering procedures are as follows: The USAF is seeking to procure BBU-35A/B Impulse Cartridges.

The cost of all shipping materials is to be included in the pricing of each requirement. The award criteria will follow paragraph four of the Fair Opportunity Ordering Procedures outlined in the basic ordering clause. Please complete the embedded, Proposed Pricing Table titled “Quantity Bands BBU-35” for submitting your pricing information. The completed and submitted Proposed Pricing Table will be used to evaluate these requirements. Each contractor shall propose unit pricing on the given quantity ranges. The Government will then determine the award combination which provides the Government with the most units for the available dollars. Contractors are reminded that in the event that the Government determines a contractor’s price unreasonable, the Government reserves the right to award an amount less than the specified minimum. A timely electronic copy is sufficient.

3. Delivery Schedule: Per basic award.

4. Ship To: Per delivery order.

5. Proposal due date: Will be declared on each LRFOP. Contractor proposed prices shall be valid for 120 days after proposal due date.

6. All attachments of the basic contract are applicable to this requirement.

7. Please refer any questions to Tyler Fowers at tyler.fowers@us.af.mil.
