About this file

This document is a solicitation from the Department of Veterans Affairs requiring contractors to submit certifications regarding their compliance with limitations on subcontracting regulations and to provide details on the cost of work to be performed by the prime contractor and similarly situated subcontractors. Offerors must identify whether they anticipate using subcontractors and certify that if subcontractors are used, the prime contractor and similarly situated subcontractors will perform at least 50% of the work. Contractors must provide their DUNS number and descriptions of work, along with the cost and percentage of the total contract to be performed by the prime and any similarly situated subcontractors. Severe penalties may be imposed if the limitations on subcontracting are violated during contract performance. The related federal contract opportunity is for hydraulic fire sprinkler calculations and sign tagging services for the VA Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.
