About this file
This document is a Sole Source Justification for a simplified acquisition by the Department of State Office of Acquisition Management. It proposes to award a BPA call to Knoll, Inc. for systems furniture at the U.S. Embassy in London, United Kingdom, on behalf of OBO/PDCS/DE/ID, at an estimated total cost of $31,722.99. Knoll is determined to be uniquely capable of meeting this need as they provided the existing furniture that was procured for the Chancery in 2016, allowing for integrated and uniform appearance of fabrics, finishes, and materials throughout the building. No other vendor is able to provide matching finishes. The Contracting Officer has certified that the anticipated price is fair and reasonable based on BPA pricing, and that no market research was conducted as no other vendor can meet this specific need.
