About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) from the U.S. Coast Guard seeking information on companies capable of performing lube oil and coolant testing and analysis services. The RFI includes a draft Statement of Work outlining the required testing and analysis services, such as viscosity, water content, total base number, total acid number, fuel dilution, oxidation, soot index, glycol, analytical ferrography, particle counting, and elemental analysis.
The RFI requests respondents to provide information on their electronic data delivery methods, database capabilities, testing methodologies, certifications, production capacity, data analysis, and sample kit/shipping services. Respondents are asked to complete a questionnaire and provide company information, including name, address, point of contact, and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). Responses are due within 15 calendar days of the RFI posting. This is a market research effort, and no contract will be awarded from this RFI.
